Kristy & TJ’s Caledon Inn Wedding
I first met Kristy and TJ back in January 2019. We met up at a Starbucks nearby and I was blown away by how sweet they were and also by their stunning eyes! I was so excited a couple of days later when they chose me to capture their big day! August could not come soon enough!
Finally, August 24th arrived. I began the day with Kristy and her girls at 12pm in Orangeville. We managed to get some adorable shots of Kristy and her kitty, as well as the bride with her bridesmaids - including champagne popping, first looks with her girls and her father, and some getting ready photos with her Maid of Honour and her mother.
At 2pm it was time for one of my favourite parts of the day… the bride and groom’s first look! Their reactions to seeing each other in their gorgeous wedding outfits was priceless.
After snapping a few shots of the bride and groom, it was time for the wedding party to join in the fun!
Next, Kristy and TJ’s family arrived to get some must-have family photos.
I captured a few photos of the amazing decor, and a couple of shots of the gorgeous bride before the big moment arrived: the ceremony.
At 4:30pm, the ceremony began. You can really see how happy and excited everyone is by the looks on their faces and the laughs they cannot contain!
Quick wedding photography tip: always stop on your way back down the aisle for a quick kiss while all of your guests are standing applauding you!!
After the ceremony, we snuck away for a few more pictures of the bride and groom.
Then it was time for more family photos… at one point, I turned around and caught a few paparazzis!
Around 6pm, the bride and groom entered the beautiful tent at the Caledon Inn and went straight into their romantic first dance to the song “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett, surrounded by their family and friends.
Family and friends delivered moving speeches throughout dinner. Then around dusk I stole the couple away for a few more shots.
Soon it was time for the cake cutting! This is another favourite moment of mine if the couple has fun with it like these two did!
Next came the shoe game, followed by a joined mother/son and father/daughter dance.
Once Kristy and TJ delivered their speech, it was party time. I went back and forth between manning their DIY photobooth and capturing some lovely moments on the dance floor!
Before it was time for me to go, I had to get my signature night shot.
