Quinn & Ainsley’s Double Maternity Session

It’s time for my first-ever maternity blog… and it’s a double! Quinn reached out to me on Facebook on New Year’s Eve 2018 looking for a last-minute maternity session — the catch was, she AND her wife were both pregnant and due within the next couple of months! I couldn’t believe their amazing story — I was so excited to be a part of it. Five days later, we met for their maternity session in Oakville — on January 5, 2019. I was blown away by how giggly and gorgeous these two moms-to-be were! They were both glowing with love and happiness. During the course of their 30-minute maternity photoshoot, Quinn and Ainsley told me a little bit about their history: They met when they were 20-years old and had been married for six years. While trying to become pregnant, Quinn had seven miscarriages. She tried once more to become pregnant and, soon after, Ainsley decided she would try as well. Quinn’s last try WORKED while Ainsley also became pregnant on her very first try. They ended up being pregnant together, due about one month apart — with a boy and a girl. I am happy to announce they welcomed their little babies into the world last winter!! Wishing this beautiful family all the best! <3
